Boyzone Boyzone was formed in November 1993 afther 5 ordinary Irish lads replied to an advert in " The Star " to form a boyband.They were picked from 300 applicants.6 lads wer picked from the orginal auditions-

Shane(who was the one who went to Louis Walsh in the first place,so he was definitely in),Mark Walton(Shane` friend),Keith,Richard Rock,Ronan (he had 3 auditions) and Stephen (he had 4 auditions)..afther 6 months Richard and Mark left the band and Mikey was drafted in as the " fifth"member

Boyzone won the Record of the year in 98 award with No Matter What... No Matter What Is the most played song in Norwegian radio....No Matter What went no 1 in over 10 countries Boyzone had their 6 millionth sale (99)....:

Their first singel, Working My Way Back To You charted at nr 3 in Irland.. Boyzone are the first Irish band to have 5 nr One hits and are also the first act in history to reach top 5 with their first 13 singles.. .....

The Official Boyzone Day is 18 November...Their third album " Where We Belong" went double plantinum in UK and went no 1 in two separate occasions. Boyzone won 6 smash Hits Poll Awards in 96...Their UK tour in 98 was sould out in 3 days.
